Grosgrain Pinwheel Bow Clip!

Looking for a fun and fashionable accessory to add flair to your hair or outfit? Look no further than our DIY Pinwheel Bow Grosgrain Clip! In this step-by-step tutorial, we'll show you how to create a charming pinwheel bow using grosgrain ribbon, perfect to get the hair out of their face while playing this Summer! 

Materials Needed:

 

Step 1

First, let's cut our ribbon. You'll need 7 inches of your 3/8" ribbon and 10 inches of your 7/8" ribbon.

Step 2

Now, grab your clip and 7/8" ribbon. Flip the clip over and add a dot of hot glue to the back and attach the ends of your ribbon. 

Step 3

Next, wrap the ribbon around one side of the clip.

Now, take the ribbon and wrap going up the other side of the clip. 

Step 4

You can finish the wrapping off by going around the top and securing it to the back with hot glue. 

Step 5 

Now, you can grab your 7/8" ribbon and fold it into a shape similar to this. 

Grab the middle and scrunch it together. 

Then, secure it with a zip tie, thread, or rubber band.

Step 6

Now, you can cut the ends of your ribbon to make it even. We decided to cut them this way to add a little more character. 

Then we added our ribbon center to finish up the bow.

Step 7

And then for our final step, we used our hot glue gun to secure the bow onto the top of the clip.
