Crayon Bow Tutorial | Felt + Ribbon!
Happy back to school season! We thought these crayon bows were perfect for this time of year so let's make them! + we have everything you need!
Step 1:
Gather your supplies! You'll need:
For The Ribbon Bow:
Start by cutting 24"-30" of your favorite color solid grosgrain and cut one corner to a point as shown above.
Next, cut out your crayon squiggles on black glitter HTV.
We uploaded the HGTV file into our Cricut app and cut out the black squiggles with our Cricut Maker and the iron on vinyl setting.
Next, iron on your squiggles and tie up your bow and enjoy!
For The Felt Bow:
We uploaded the HGTV file into our Cricut app and cut out the bow bases with our Cricut Maker using the wool blend felt setting, a rotary blade, and a strong grip mat. Another way would be to print the file and trace it onto felt and then cut it out!
As before, we heat pressed the HTV black glitter on the ends of our crayon.
We secured it all together with hot glue and ta-da!
Enjoy these cute bows for back to school!
